• o 600 ml milk
    • o 1 ½ tspn salt
    • o 1 egg yolk
    • o 1 tspn butter
    • o 125 g bryndza cheese
    • o 300 g smooth flour
    • o caraway seeds according to taste



Mix all the ingredients and make a smooth batter so that there are no lumpy bits of bryndza. Bake small wafers.


Our tip:

Instead of the classic small wafers, try baking (by measuring out less batter) even smaller ones – the so-called “ducats” with a diameter of about 5 cm. They will take a bit longer, but the result will be worth it. They go great with wine, beer or just for munching 🙂
